Arline Peartree Paintings

Arline Peartree , who does  paintings, steel sculpture, wall hangings and site specific work is internationally known.  She is recorded in the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. as an "important American Artist."  Having  studied studio and fine art she received a masters of studio art  from State University of New York and studied with Richard Stankiewicz .  Peartree's long career in art resulted in her being in many important collections: IBM, Kodak, Williams College, Bloedell Historic Trust, Con Edison, Berkshire Community College, Albany Medical Center, Con Edison, Sun Life Assurance Company, Shawmut Bank, Marine Midland Bank, Binghamton University, Boston Financial Group, Schenectady Library, Emery Air Freight and many private collectors.

She was asked to teach art history at Lynn University in Boca Raton , Broward and Palm Beach Community Colleges,  and she has a grant from the Broward Cultural Arts Council  to lecture in various libraries and cultural organizations.

Her recent paintings on paper and canvas reflect her intense interest in design, especially that of  Persia, India, and folk abstractions.
